An award-winning Voice Actor, Rick is a 2019 SOVAS nominee for Outstanding Narration Demo and International Emmy nominee for an animated series.
Rick's voice is described as professional, sincere, warm and conversational. His voiceover experience includes corporate and industrial narration, e-learning and online training, tutorials, commercials, infomercials, live announcing, emcee, audiobooks, promotional videos and advertising. Rick spent years as a corporate technology and leadership trainer, which gives him the ability to interpret and clearly deliver the most technically complicated scripts.
Rick's passion for storytelling has carried him through many facets of the entertainment industry and all over the world. Growing up in St. Louis MO, Rick started as a DJ in radio at one of the first alternative radio stations in the city. Then, searching for new adventures, Rick moved to San Francisco where he trained and worked in the Voice Over industry. When the opportunity to move to Singapore presented itself, Rick was able to work in animation, trailers, commercials, explainer videos, promo, and live announce. And now as the trends in voiceover shifted to conversational, friendly and believable, Rick has landed in Kansas City, serving his clients from his professional studio via Skype, Source Connect, Zoom and iPdtl. Rick offers his 10,000 hours of experience in audio engineering by teaching others in the community how to podcast and get the best audio quality possible.
